Student Council is the organized voice of the school body.  The Student Council is made up of elected officers and representatives from each grade level.  The Council plans and organizes various events throughout the school year to involve all interested students in the school community.

Rickover Junior High proudly sponsors a chapter of the National Junior Honor Society for academically eligible students.

Student volunteers continue to give their time at Market Say, Anchorage Nursing Home in Beecher and feeding people at a homeless shelter. In addition, they help teachers after school or during their lunch hours. They also peer-tutor math students.
