Mr. Al Travaglini

Assistant Superintendent and Director of Special Education

Mr. Al Travaglini returned to District 168 as a Special Education Coordinator. He was previously a building Principal at Strassburg School in 1978. Mr. Travaglini received his B.S. Degree from McPherson College in Kansas and his Masters Degree from National College of Education in Evanston, IL. Mr. Travaglini holds a Type 75 administrative certificate, a Director of Special Education endorsement, and a K-12 General and Special Education teaching certificate. Mr. Travaglini has experience teaching elementary education in Chicago Heigthts District 170. He has high school experience teaching at Bloom District 206 and has administrative experience working for the SPEED Cooperative in Chicago Heights. In July 2010, Mr Travaglini became the Assistant Superintendent.
