Teddy Bear Christmas

	Once again the first grade classes put on a great Christmas musical under the direction of our music teacher Mrs. Michelin. This year's program, written by Teresa Jennings, centered on the fact that Christmas is for family and not just presents.



	All of the school gathered in the afternoon to watch the first grade classes practice for their evening performance. The audience enjoyed songs like "A Honey of a Holiday"

	All of our "bears" dressed up in their favorite clothes for the evening performance that was played to a full house. We were proud of all of them.

		Teddy wanted along list of presents as shown in the song, "Dear Santa", until Mother Bear realizes that her older son, Theodore, can't come home for Christmas. It was then that they realized Christmas is about family and love.
	Our main characters, Mother Bear, Father Bear, Grandmother Bear, Brandfather Bear, and Teddy Bear, did a great job remembering and delivering their lines to a packed audience.!

Mrs. Michelin follows along as the speakers recite their lines. Everyone in the audience went home filled with holiday spirit.
