After hours of preparation the show went off like a Fourth of July firecracker.

The Statue of Liberty sits in New York's harbor reminding us of one thing that built this wonderful country...diversity.

A symbol of freedom & justice for all.

Two of the songs were "The Liberty Bell" and "Yankee Doodle".

These great heroes, Washington, Lincoln and King, whose names stand for freedom, peace and equality deserve our thanks and praise.

Our country has been called a melting pot

and one of the songs addressed that...

From every nation they sailed across the sea

To settle in this great land, the home of the free.

As one student, Tyriq, said in the program,

"From the east coast to the west,

If you travel state by state,

You'll find it's you an' I

That make our country great.
