Our Preschoolers are now moving along into their unit of Transportation! All Preschool classrooms have been working very hard on learning all about the different types of transportation. They learned the differences between air, water, and land transportation, and how they are used. One Preschool classroom has been working tremendously hard on making their very own cars made out of recycled cardboard boxes. Students designed their own unique car by painting and adding parts to their cars. The begining of each unit students learn vocaulary words that are implemented each day. Students learned that a car needs different parts like the steering wheel, wheels, headlights, speedometer, ignition, license plates, and a driver needs a drivers license. Students also learned about a drive in movie theater. Students were able to watch the film Cars and understand the idea of purchasing snacks to watch the film. This was such an exciting activity for students to learn about and what a blast they had.
