COOK COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH HOSTS

“ASK THE DOCTOR” FORUMS TO LINK RESIDENTS AND DOCTORS
Online Series Runs in Spanish and English
Spanish Language Events This Week, 7/21 and 7/22
Forest Park, IL—Cook County Department of Public Health (CCDPH) today
announced July dates for its “Ask the Doctor” series, virtual question-and-answer
events that allow residents to ask questions about COVID-19 and the vaccines
directly with community doctors. CCDPH will host several such events through
September, in both English and Spanish.
“These events provide an opportunity for residents to ask doctors the questions that
may be preventing them from getting vaccinated. It is important that residents hear
firsthand from physicians that the vaccine is safe and effective.” said Dr. Rachel
Rubin, the Co-Lead and Senior Medical Officer for the Cook County Department of
Public Health. “Our goal is to answer questions, address any misinformation or
confusion and provide the information people need to make an informed decision.”
