Wagoner is a child-centered, vibrant place to learn. Our kindergarten, first, and second grade students are nurtured in a setting that embraces their natural curiosity about the world that surrounds them, while fostering the development of skills in reading, writing, and math. Every member of our dedicated staff maintains high expectations for engaging our students in learning the necessary academic, social, and emotional skills needed to be successful, contributing members of our global society.
At our school, everyone matters and is valued for the contributions they can make. We are one with each other in learning and growing. Embracing our differences strengthens our relationships and our understanding of each other. The expectation is that the students and staff display respect, responsibility, and kindness at all times. While building strong character, we also take the time to celebrate each other’s achievements and successes. Learning is about growing and changing in many positive ways. It comes with hard work and dedication. Taking time to acknowledge a job well done, or the attainment of a goal, motivates everyone to achieve more. We are determined to inspire excellence in every child, every day!
Another aspect that is critical to our students’ success is the strong partnership we have with our families. The contributions of our families serve to enrich the learning environment and experiences for our students. You are encouraged to join us for our family nights, become involved with a parent group, and ultimately share in your child’s learning experience.
Wagoner is a fantastic place for learning and growing. It is my honor and pleasure to serve as the principal of Wagoner. Your input is very much appreciated and welcomed. Please feel free to stop by the office or call me, Go Wildcats!
Yours in Learning,
Dr. Sharon Nepote
