Career Day was an exciting event where 39 presenters visited our classrooms. Each presenter shared a treasure trove of experiences and knowledge about their jobs. This special day allowed students to engage in real-life learning by discovering different careers.
During the event, students had the chance to ask thoughtful questions. They were curious about what the presenters do every day. Hearing about the presenters' daily lives inspired many students. They learned about various professions.
Many students expressed that hearing these stories made them see school in a new light. They realized how important their education is for their future careers. Overall, Career Day was not just informative; it motivated students to take their studies seriously and dream big about their own futures.
The event concluded with an inspiring presentation by Jahkil Johnson, who was the keynote speaker. He captivated the audience with his powerful words and shared his journey, encouraging students to follow their dreams. After his talk, he generously handed out copies of his comic book, which he autographed. The excitement was palpable as the kids gathered around him, eager to receive their autographed books and learn more about the characters he created.
Thank you once again to Ms. Cameron and all members of the Career Day planning committee. You all did an outstanding job! Kudos as well to our staff and students for creating such a warm and welcoming environment for our presenters. Great things are happening at RJHS, and we are so proud of the work we are doing together!
